A recent study confirmed what most people already knew: listening to music helps you work out longer. One group of women was provided with a CD player to listen to music while working, while a control group worked out with no music.

The CD group worked out, on average, 15% longer than the control group. they also showed better overall fitness improvements in all the measured categories. My question is: CD players?! Haven't they heard of iPods? Anyway, make sure you've got your tunes with you, regardless of format.
