Fat Tongue Bulgarian Priming Technique




Okay, I don't know if it's really Bulgarian, but it is an Eastern European training technique, and Bulgarian sounds cooler. What is "fat tongue?" It's a method by which one can "prime" oneself for big lifts, such as the DL, squats or cleans. How do you perform it? During your RI, you will stand and lean back, extending your neck and upper back so that your tongue falls into the back of your throat. While breathing deeply and slowly, you will gently swing your arms forward and back for 30 seconds.The entire time you will be visualizing your successful lifts. You will repeat this during each RI. At the end of your set, you will feel energized and strong, which will allow you to work harder and longer. Really. Would the crazy Ukrainian lead you astray?
