Spinning and Pilates Among Falling Fads

The recent ACSM Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends for 2013 shows that spinning, Pilates, stability ball  are not among the Top 20 fitness trends. Indeed, Pilates and stability ball have dropped off the list for the third year in a row, indicating that they were fads and not true trends.

New to the list in 2013 are outcome measurements and circuit training. The newest "trend" for 2013? Bodyweight training.

So, jump off your bike or your Reformer and give some circuits a try!
